Nick Viall Next ‘Bachelor,’ According To Clues On ‘Bachelor In Paradise’: Was ‘Closure’ The Big Giveaway?

Nick Viall is the next Bachelor if the clues shown on Bachelor in Paradise are correct. The show’s creator, Mike Fleiss , promised fans that there would be a clue in Sunday night’s premiere that would all but reveal who ABC’s next leading man is, and many fans think that there’s a good possibility Nick got the gig.

Keep in mind, the next Bachelor will be the network’s 20th, so it’s a big deal. Two decades of guys handing out roses is a long time, and the show continues to be a huge success. Judging from the tweets during Bachelor in Paradise , many fans were more concerned with figuring out Fleiss’ clues than watching a bunch of guys and girls drink and mingle on a beach.

Shortly before the first episode was over, Mike Fleiss asked fans on Twitter if they saw the clue. While some viewers jumped on the “Jared for Bachelor” train of thought because he used the word “closure,” others thought that he may have been dropping a hint about Nick Viall. After two season finale rejections, it would make sense to bring Nick back for a third, and hopefully final, try at finding love.

Of course, there’s always the possibility that producers are trying to throw everyone off track and they are sticking with the guy who became an instant frontrunner after Kaitlyn’s overnight dates — Ben Higgins.

However, Ben recently tweeted that he is heading to Honduras in September — the month that the Bachelor typically starts filming.

Producers may be prompting Ben to tweet about upcoming activities so fans will keep discussing who the next Bachelor will be. Last season, Mike Fleiss tweeted that it was between Chris Soules and Arie Luyendyk, Jr ., but Reality Steve said that was never the case — the farmer was ABC’s pick from the get-go.

If “closure” was a clue, then Nick Viall sounds like the obvious choice for the next Bachelor , but figuring out what Mike Fleiss’ hint really may require hours of analyzing the entire first episode of Bachelor in Paradise . Or fans can just wait until the network makes the big announcement.

Considering the Bachelor 2016 will likely air in January, filming should start next month. Fans should have their answer, clue or not, in the next few weeks. Until then, #TeamNick fans will root for their guy, #TeamBen fans will convince each other that he’s not too young for the gig, and Jared Haibon will do his best to dodge Ashley Iaconetti on Bachelor in Paradise.

Do you think Mike Fleiss’ clues revealed who the next Bachelor is, or was it a ploy to keep fans watching Bachelor in Paradise ?
