Karen Anderson, a professional animal medium and psychic, who claims she is able to communicate with dead pets and animals in the afterlife, says she has made contact with and spoken to slain Cecil the lion .
Cecil the lion, a star attraction at the Hawange National Park in Zimbabwe, met a violent and untimely death at the hands of Walter Palmer, a U.S. tourist.
Palmer, a dentist and father of two from Eden Prairie, Minnesota, reportedly shot Cecil dead on protected land in Zimbabwe. He is believed to have paid $50,000 for the privilege of shooting a lion. But unfortunately, the veteran big game safari hunter ended up shooting one of Zimbabwe’s most famous and beloved lions.
After shocked locals found the carcass decapitated and skinned, Palmer claimed he did not know that the lion he killed was a celebrity lion.
And while thousands around the world mourned the dead lion, Karen Anderson, an “animal communicator,” got busy trying to make contact with him.
On July 29, Anderson generated considerable excitement among animal lovers when she announced on Facebook that she has “connected” with the dead feline and spoken to him.
She claimed the lion communicated a “profound” message to the world from beyond the grave that moved her to tears.
“I just connected with Cecil the lion who was recently killed. I wanted to let him know how loved and honored he is. I was moved to tears to hear his words. His message is profound.”
The dead animal’s words from the celestial parkland are profound and sagely words of wisdom to comfort thousands of fans worldwide mourning his sudden violent death.
According to Anderson, Cecil told her, “Take heart my child, I am finer than ever, grander than before.”
“Let not the actions of these few men defeat us or allow darkness to enter our hearts. If we do then we become one of them. Raise your vibration and allow this energy to move us forward. What happened does not need to be discussed as it is what it is. Take heart my child, I am finer than ever, grander than before as no one can take our purity, our truth or our soul. Ever.
“I am here. Be strong and speak for all the others who suffer needlessly to satisfy human greed. Bring Light and Love and we will rise above this.”
In short, Cecil wants us to stop mourning.
But the anger at the killing of Cecil appears to have deepened — despite Palmer’s protestations of innocence — after several news websites uncovered evidence that Palmer has a long and appalling history of big game safari hunting. His favorite weapon appears to be the crossbow.
“To my knowledge, everything about this trip was legal and properly handled and conducted. I had no idea that the lion I took was a known, local favorite, was collared and part of a study until the end of the hunt.
“I relied on the expertise of my local professional guides to ensure a legal hunt.I have not been contacted by authorities in Zimbabwe or in the U.S. about this situation, but will assist them in any inquiries they may have.”
Photos are being shared online that show the dentist grinning from ear to ear while posing proudly beside a large variety of his four-legged victims, including a leopard, warthog, buffalo, and a white rhino, an endangered species.
According to Express , Palmer claims to hold the record of the biggest white rhino ever killed with a crossbow.
But now he is wanted by the Zimbabwean police for questioning over the death of Cecil.
