Suzy Of K-Pop Group ‘Miss A’ Will Sing Oh Ha Na’s Theme In K-Drama ‘The Time We Were Not In Love’

Out of all the K-dramas that debuted in July, The Time We Were Not In Love (also known as The Time That I Loved You, 7,000 Days ) probably has it the worst. Despite the fact that the acting and chemistry between both lead actors, Ha Ji Won and Lee Jin Wook, are phenomenal, the K-drama just can’t seem to establish itself. Trouble for the K-drama started when its trailer was busted for plagiarism . Then, the production crew changed not once, but twice by the fifth episode. This may be why ratings for the show aren’t that good.

Fortunately, The Time We Were Not In Love might get a bit of a pick-me-up in the form of K-pop group Miss A, or at least one of its members. Reports now show one of its members, Suzy, will perform the theme song for Oh Ha Na, one of the main characters in the K-drama.

The details of said theme song of Oh Ha Na were first announced on the official Korean website for the Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS) through KdramaStars . Suzy of Miss A will lend her voice for “ Why is This ,” a song for the K-drama’s original soundtrack. As mentioned earlier, it will be the theme for Oh Ha Na, the lead female character played by Ha Ji Won. It is supposed to represent Ha Na’s embarking on her own personal journey towards true love. A representative from SBS followed-up with a statement, describing the song in further detail.

“Sung by Suzy, ‘Why is This’ is a midtempo ballad, with lyrics that represent the heroine Ha Na’s heart. We expect that Suzy’s clear and pure voice will affect viewers.”

It is unknown if the song “Why is This” has already been recorded and will eventually play in a future episode of The Time We Were Not In Love , or if recording is scheduled for a future date. Nevertheless, reviewers at Korean sites believe getting the voice of the most popular member of Miss A on the soundtrack is probably a means to help improve ratings.

The Time We Were Not In Love airs on Saturdays and Sundays at 10 p.m. KST on SBS. For those who don’t have access to Korean television channels, it can be viewed for free (with ads) at DramaFever . The K-drama is still on-going, so only half of the 16 episodes have been released as of now.
