To former NBA player Cuttino Mobley, age is just a number. The former NBA player, who spent 11 seasons in the league, mostly with the Houston Rockets and Los Angeles Clippers, is back on the basketball court. No, Mobley isn’t playing in the NBA, but as Michael Lee of the Washington Post explains, he’s taken his talents to the Drew League.
Now, it’s not even the fact that Mobley is back on the court that really matters. What’s important here is what Mobley is showing he’s able to do on the court, as well as the look that he’s rocking while doing it. Check out the video below from the Drew League’s official Twitter account .
Don’t let the grey hair fool you. @CuttinosLife still has game. He did his thing with LAUNFD on Sunday. #OldMoney ? https://t.co/NlbPZOMjKP

This is one of those videos where you kind of sit back and are just in awe. First off, if this wasn’t labeled as being Cuttino Mobley, there’s a good chance I wouldn’t have realized it was even him. Mobley may only be 39, but he looks far older than that thanks to his gray beard and gray hair.
Mobley obviously doesn’t care how old he looks, but what he does care about is still putting on a show on the basketball court. The last time we really heard much about Mobley was when he had originally sued the New York Knicks over a career-ending medical issue. Mobley later dropped that lawsuit to attempt a comeback, as ESPN explained .
After watching Mobley put in work against another team in the Drew League, it seems that the medical issue isn’t slowing him down now. To be purely honest here, Mobley looks about 15 years older than he actually is, but watching him on tape makes him look like he still has the skills to play at a high level.
I’m not going to expect Mobley to make any type of an NBA comeback. With that said, though, it’s always awesome to see former NBA players make some noise on the court.
Nice work, Mr. Mobley. Keep doing what you do.
