Lindsey Graham and Donald Trump have not been on the best of terms lately. Last week, Trump questioned the war hero status of John McCain, who is a close friend of Graham’s. As the Inquisitr previously reported, Senator Graham said Trump needed to stop being a “jacka**,” which was not received well by Trump. Mashable noted that Graham also said he didn’t care if Donald stayed in the race or not.
Many people found Trump’s comments about John McCain offensive. Veterans especially found what Donald said infuriating. So Lindsey Graham, who himself is a veteran of the Air Force, and a personal friend of McCain’s, was angered by the shocking comments Trump made.
As reported by Politico , Donald Trump responded to Graham’s comments by repeatedly insulting the Republican Senator from South Carolina. Speaking at a rally in South Carolina, Trump, who’s running for the Republican presidential nomination, even questioned Lindsey Graham’s intelligence. Graham is campaigning for the Republican presidential nomination, as well.
“He doesn’t seem like a very bright guy. He actually probably seems to me not as bright as Rick Perry. I think Rick Perry probably is smarter than Lindsey Graham.”
At one point during his speech, Trump pulled out a piece of paper with a number on it and began reading the number to the crowd. Mr. Trump claimed he had received Graham’s number a few years ago when Graham was asking Trump for a reference for the Fox News show, Fox & Friends .
Speaking with Politico , Graham said he wasn’t surprised by Trump’s most recent actions.
“When it comes to the Donald, nothing surprises me anymore. It’s just too bad, really.”
Lindsey Graham’s campaign manager issued a statement in response to Donald making Graham’s phone number public. In the statement, the campaign manager says that Donald Trump isn’t prepared to be president. The statement also mentions that President Obama and Hillary Clinton are the two people most excited at Trump’s campaign.
Probably getting a new phone. iPhone or Android?

Graham, along with IJReview, came up with a humorous reaction to Trump leaking Graham’s phone number. In the video, which you can watch at the top of this post, Sen. Graham destroys multiple cellphones in a variety of ways.
The Senator chops a cellphone in half with a cleaver, hits one with a golf club, and even throws one in a blender.
