Brad Arnold kicks out a fan in a video that went viral. Singer for 3 Doors Down , Brad took an unplanned break in his concert to slam a member of the audience for attacking a woman, reported Time .
Taking place at the 1st Bank Center in Broomfield, Colorado, the concert halt was filmed by Melissa Nichols. When 3 Doors Down guitarist Chris Henderson noted the video, he asked her to provide him with the full video to post.
Arnold shifted into conductor mode by halting the rest of the band. He then swore at the man before kicking him out.
“Hey, homie, you don’t hit a woman! You just pushed a woman out of the way to get in a fight,” said Brad with a swear word. “Get him the hell out of here.”
The audience made it clear that they supported Arnold by cheering his move. And the concert-goers weren’t the only ones cheering for Brad.
As for the guitarist’s take on the incident, Chris revealed that it was unprecedented.
“[This was] a pretty insulting incident,” opined Henderson. “When he did it, I was like, ‘Man, I’m really glad you did that, because that was gonna get really ugly really quick.’”
After Arnold yelled at someone to kick out the abusive person, the house lights came on so that security guards could take out the culprit.
Brad later asked Chris whether it was the right decision.
“Your morals kicked in,”commended Henderson.
When Arnold kicked out the man, he was mid-song during their live performance, reported CNN .
The 3 Doors Down lead singer reacted to the sight of a man shoving a woman.
Henderson admitted that some of their fans tend to get loud. However, Chris explained that in this case, the man was trying to start a fight with someone else, and the woman was caught between them.
“The fact that she was there wasn’t going to stop him from killing everything in his way,” added Henderson.
In addition to Chris’ belief that Brad did the right thing in halting the music to prevent additional harm, other members of 3 Doors Down supported him on social media.
“Brad telling someone to not hit a woman! Just another reason I’m proud to be in this band!!” exclaimed Henderson.
As the Inquisitr reported, another unexpected incident at a concert happened recently when Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters fell on-stage . Although he broke his leg, falling 12 feet from the stage into the pit, the Foo Fighters rocker shocked his fellow musicians and the audience by his announcement.
“I think I just broke my leg!” screamed Dave. “I’m going to fix my leg and then I’m going to come back.”
And return he did, gritting his teeth to finish the show before having his fractures fixed.
