Tullian Tchividjian’s affair has shocked the nation since the the Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church pastor is Billy Graham’s grandson.
Although many are supportive of the Florida megachurch pastor, some claim he has thrown his wife, Kim Tchividjian, “under the bus” by the way he resigned.
In a related report by the Inquisitr , the details released about Tullian Tchividjian’s affair claim that the cheating started first with the wife, but he only discovered this once he returned from a trip a few months ago. Tullian claim the affair did not stop despite this discovery, and the couple separated. Tullian then went on sabbatical to recover, but he then had his own affair with a female friend. The Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church pastor then stepped down officially, resigning from his position.
When the Sun Sentinel tried to speak to Kim Tchividjian to confirm some of these details, she answered the door but would not add anything more.
“I’m here with my kids,” she said. “We won’t be doing any interviews.”
Kim apparently disagrees with certain details about the history of Tullian Tchividjian’s cheating, since she released a brief message to the Washington Post which claims Tullian is only expressing his opinion.
“The statement reflected my husband’s opinions but not my own,” wrote Tullian Tchividjian’s wife. “Please respect the privacy of my family at this time, thank you. I do thank everyone for the outpouring of love for my family as well during this difficult time and we appreciate all the prayers and support we are receiving.”
In the past, Tullian has discussed how he dropped out of high school and was originally caught up in a lifestyle of drugs and drinking before becoming a pastor.
“I was a hedonist to the nth-degree,” he said in the interview. “I pursued pleasure harder than any individual. I thought the answer was the more fun I could have, the better life would be.”
Now, Tullian is telling his supporters that “both my wife and I are heartbroken over our actions and we ask you to pray for us and our family.” Many on Twitter have been supportive of Tullian, and he also has expressed multiple messages where he admits that there are consequences for his actions.
No vertical condemnation does not mean no horizontal consequences. Surrender early.

So grateful that God is a bottom feeder.

Not everyone has been supportive, with some stating that Tullian should keep quiet about his affair from now on, while others sharply criticize him for the way he handled this issue.
@PastorTullian @coralridgepc A man who’s disqualified himself from pastoral ministry should be quiet, repent & live faithfully (Ps 51:17).

@PastorTullian I’m shocked that you threw your wife under the bus to substantiate your own sin. This is your legacy. * http://t.co/xVUrmCTQ93
