Florida principal Alberto Iber lost his job at North Miami Senior High School because of comments he made on Facebook. Iber defended the actions of the McKinney Texas cop who recently resigned his post after an altercation with teen pool crashers. Corporal Eric Casebolt was shown waving his gun at the teens in swimwear after they did not comply with his orders during the disturbance.

“He did nothing wrong. He was afraid for his life,” the Florida principal posted in the comments section (via the Facebook social media app) beneath the article. “I commend him for his actions.”
Principal Iber deleted the post supportive of the Texas police officer from his personal Facebook account not long after the statement was published. When a comment is posted via the Facebook app, both the name and an image of the account holder are also shared.

The McKinney cop comment reportedly drew criticism from some of his students and community members rather quickly.
“That’s a bad thing for being a principal at North Miami Senior High School,” one Miami Senior High School student stated during an interview with NBC News . “How can you defend a man who pulled a gun on teenagers?”
Alberto Iber had just recently completed his first year as a school principal before district officials removed him from the position. The school officials maintain the Miami-Dade educator had broken the Florida district’s code of conduct.
Principal Iber will reportedly be reassigned to administrative duties within the district while school officials seek a replacement for the high school principal position.
“Miami-Dade County Public Schools employees are held to a higher standard, and by School Board policy, are required to conduct themselves, both personally and professionally, in a manner that represents the school district’s core values,” the Florida school district stated in a release to the media.
The Miami principal said that he had intended to post the comment about the McKinney cop anonymously.
“I support law enforcement, and also the community and students that I serve as the proud principal of North Miami Senior High. The comment I posted was simply made as the result of a short video that I watched and my personal opinion.”
Eric Casebolt has gone into hiding due to death threats he has received over the teen pool party incident.
