Sarah Michelle Gellar has been feeding our nostalgia through this past week, giving fans of both Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Cruel Intentions reunions to both make us smile and cry all at once.

Earlier this week, Gellar reunited with former Buffy castmates , when Sarah’s longtime friend and BTVS co-star Alyson Hannigan sent out party invitations for her daughter Keeva’s third birthday. The first share from Sarah Michelle Gellar might have been an on-set publicity shot, showing Gellar and Hannigan cheek-to-cheek as though not a day had passed since their Buffy The Vampire Slayer days.

“So this girl (#AlysonHannigan) and her husband (#AlexisDenisof) know how to throw a party,” Ms. Gellar captioned the picture. “I thought I was good with the crafts, till I went to this party #CraftMaster. Thanks for having the #PrinzeFamily I’ve never seen a farm and pony rides in Santa Monica before #NowIveSeenItAll.”

Proving that Ms. Hannigan was as crafty as Sarah claimed, Ms. Gellar shared another photo of the duo together, but, this time, a balloon giraffe seemed to be photobombing the shot.

Also attending the party was Hannigan’s husband and another Buffy co-star Alexis Denisof with their other daughter, 5-year-old Satyana. Sarah Michelle Gellar was joined by husband Freddie Prinze, Jr., 39, as well as daughter Charlotte, 5, and 2-year-old son Rocky.

Ms. Gellar recently shared a collection of photos from Buffy The Vampire Slayer to celebrate the 12-year anniversary of the show’s final episode.

“12 years ago, I said goodbye to a friend. It was an incredible journey that I am so incredibly proud of. Thank you all for joining me, and continuing to tell her story,” Ms. Gellar added.

As if that wasn’t enough to feed our addiction for 90s nostalgia, Sarah Michelle Gellar also treated fans of the feature film Cruel Intentions to a reunion of another kind, this time with Gellar’s Cruel Intentions ‘ co-stars Reese Witherspoon and Selma Blair. Ms. Gellar joined Selma and Reese for a ladies night out on the town in downtown L.A.

The three women first attended The Unauthorized Musical Parody of Cruel Intentions at Hollywood’s Rockwell Table & Stage, where they were spotted cheering and singing to the film’s stage adaptation. Amidst a barrage of martini-inspired selfies, the trio sang along to such songs as “Bittersweet Symphony” by The Verve.

Later, Ms. Gellar’s party was joined by Roger Kumble, the director and writer of Cruel Intentions . Kumble was out celebrating his 49th birthday with his wife, so Sarah Michelle Gellar, along with Ms. Witherspoon and Ms. Blair, toasted his birthday. Following the show’s curtain call, Gellar and company cajoled the audience into singing a round of “Happy Birthday” in Kumble’s honor.

Also following the stage performance, the women joined the play’s cast backstage, where Ms. Gellar and Ms. Blair recreated that famous Cruel Intentions kiss.

Reese Witherspoon seemed to have had the night’s events planned, because she presented each of the stage performers with a box of chocolate, complimenting them on a job well done. Along with Selma and Sarah, Reese also shared moments from the reunion on her own Twitter and Instagram accounts. The event was dubbed “best girls night of the year!” by the women.

Most recently, Sarah Michelle Gellar co-starred alongside Robin Williams in the cancelled CBS TV show, The Crazy Ones .
