Take a bow Justin Bieber. Talk about a fashion moment. The superstar ramped up his big comeback by killing it on the red carpet at 2015 Met Gala, held at New York’s Metropolitan Museum Costume Institute on Monday night.
As one of the few men at fashion’s ultimate social event to observe Vogue editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour’s “China: Through the Looking Glass” theme, the Biebs had riotous fun with it.
Cited as one of the best dressed males at the Gala by GQ Spain’s fashion editor , People , and voters at Vogue magazine, and more — the 21-year-old rocked up in a custom, black velvet, Balmain Homme Fall/Winter 2015 blazer embroidered with gold dragons.

Justin was styled by Ugo Mozie and walked the carpet as the guest of Balmain’s creative director, Olivier Rousteing .
The prince of pop teamed his talking point jacket with a black collarless shirt, black skinny pants, a silk cummerbund, smart black suede boots, and shades. His on-point ensemble was completed by his newly-coiffed, hipster ‘do. In a word: Slayage.
People named Bieber one of four standout males at the Gala, alongside actors Michael B. Jordan, Adrien Brody, and singer Miguel. The magazine wrote:
“Justin Bieber: Love him or hate him, you have to admit Bieber is killing it in that gold embellished Balmain blazer. Let’s hope Balmain’s Olivier Rousteing keeps Bieber in his pocket and dresses him again.”
Meanwhile, over at Vogue (they crowned Rousteing and the Biebs “red carpet princes” ), voters shot the singer into the Top 5 on “The Most Original,” “The Most Elegant,” and “The Most Daring” lists. [voting continues].
Olivier gushed openly about Justin to André Leon Talley, the former American editor-at-large for Vogue magazine. Talley interviewed the pair on the Met Gala carpet.
Revealing that it took a month to embroider Justin’s jacket, Olivier called the singer “The new legacy,” before adding, “he’s part of the new world, he’s the future, so proud to have him tonight.”
The “Where Are U Now” singer joined a galaxy of stars at the Gala, which was co-chaired by a Dior-clad Jennifer Lawrence .
Other attendees included Anne Hathaway, Kendall Jenner , Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, Sofia Vergara, Reese Witherspoon, Kerry Washington, Leonardo DiCaprio, Diane Kruger, Dakota Johnson, Rachel Weisz,, Chrissy Teigen, and husband John Legend.
Lily Collins, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Donatella Versace, Stella McCartney, Selena Gomez, Cara Delevingne, Hailey Baldwin, Gigi and Bella Hadid, Sarah Jessica Parker, Zac Posen, Rosie Huntingdon-Whiteley, JLo, Katy Holmes, Alicia Keys, Miley Cyrus, Robert Pattinson and songstress fiancée FKA Twigs, Kate Beckinsale, Kate Hudson, Usher, Helen Mirren, fashionistas, designers and editors galore, and legions more.
Selena looked amazing in a Vera Wang gown with black tasseled straps, complemented with a hair corsage.

Despite Wintour’s draconian ban on “phones for photography and social media” inside the gala,” Justin and numerous other stars couldn’t resist taking selfies at the Gala.
And we’re glad they did.
Justin shared a pic with Cara Delevingne to his social media accounts . Another with Lady Gaga followed.
In a pic caption, Olivier enthused, “MET GALA 2015 @justinbieber #werockedit #love #nyc #thebalmainLEGACY #MYnewprince @balmainparis #THEbalmainLOve.”
After seemingly negotiated potentially awkward scenarios with Selena and rumored former flame Miranda Kerr at his first Met Gala , the Biebs joined reported new gal pal, Australian model Shanina Shaik , Kendall, Hailey, Leo DiCaprio, Diplo, Madonna, Selena and more at Rihanna’s after-party at Up & Down in NYC.

A few lucky fans managed to get face time and snaps with the heartthrob, who can be seen in a video dancing with fans.
So, now that the 2015 Met Gala has wrapped, there’s just one question to ask: given the glowing way Rousteing talked up his new muse, is a Balmain campaign on the cards for Justin Bieber?
