Chris Pratt may have won some major brownie points with his wife thanks to heartfelt comments that he made online Friday.
The Jurassic World actor answered questions from fans and critics alike during a Reddit AMA session — including personal ones about his relationship with his wife, actress Anna Faris.
In a very touching and almost poetic fashion, Pratt was able to beautifully express his longtime love connection with Anna Faris in words.
“Anna and I are meant to be together. Our relationship has made me believe in divine intervention and destiny, just as much as my crazy career and the way I fell into this life.”
The 35-year-old actor went on to explain several of the similarities and ironic facts about himself and Anna Faris that provided solid proof for his profound statement.
“She and I grew up 20 minutes away from each other but never met until we met in L.A. We both got our start in horror spoofs. We both did an animated movie for Phil Lord and Chris Miller. We both made our careers playing guileless nitwits for laughs. We both have parents that have suffered with MS. The similarities go on and on.”
After taking a moment to examine the points that Chris Pratt made a little closer, his viewpoint seems to become more and more solid.
Horror Spoofs
Long before he became Andy Dwyer on the hit NBC TV series, Parks and Recreation , Chris Pratt made his acting debut as Devon in the Rae Dawn Chong-directed horror comedy short film, Cursed Part 3 in 2000.

One year after starring in the 1999 slasher film, Lovers Lane , Anna Faris became a familiar face on the big screen with the release of the Keenen Ivory Wayans-directed horror spoof, Scary Movie . Faris reprised her role of Cindy Campbell in several of the follow-up sequels – including Scary Movie 2 (2001), Scary Movie 3 (2003) and Scary Movie 4 (2006).

The characters that Chris and Anna played in their respective horror films could very easily be described as “guileless nitwits.”
Animated Movies
Chris Pratt voiced a leading role in the 2014 hit Oscar-nominated animated film, The Lego Movie, which was written and directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller.

Ironically, the same writing-directing duo added Anna Faris to the ensemble cast of the animated film, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs in 2009 as well as its follow-up sequel in 2013.

Chris might have won over the most hearts during his Reddit AMA when he reflected on his marriage to Anna Faris and their family overall.
“Anna is a great wife. Very patient and understanding. Very supportive. So kind and genuine always. And she gave me a wonderful son and family of in laws that I truly love.”
Chris Pratt and Anna Faris became husband and wife on July 9, 2009 in Bali. Their son, Jack, was born in August 2012.
