After Rush Limbaugh made his now infamous “slut” comment last week , advertisers have been fleeing from his show. Major companies like AOL, McDonald’s, Ford, and Geico have pulled their advertising from Limbaugh’s program . Thankfully, reputable companies like Schoder’s Fake Rape Whistles have decided to stand by the controversial host.
Last night on “Saturday Night Live,” Taran Killam said in his best Rush Limbaugh that he isn’t worried about losing all of his sponsors because “good american companies like” Misaki Dolphin Poppers, Depends for Racists, and the Syria Tourism Board have stepped in to take their place.
Media Matters reports that Limbaugh has lost 98 sponsors since he called Sandra Fluke a “slut” and a “prostitute” after she testified that birth control should be covered by insurance. Limbaugh apologized for his comments , but Fluke, and nearly 100 companies, didn’t accept the apology.
If the “leftwing feminazi propaganda machine” keeps forcing advertisers to flee Limbaugh’s show, he may actually need to find sponsors like Sherman’s Imitation Mayonnaise, and Barney’s Butt Crack Balm.
