Martha Stewart may have been the most unexpected speaker at Justin Bieber’s roast, but the queen of the tidy home provided some of the rawest jokes of the event. And even the master of raunchy comedy, Kevin Hart , looked shocked at some of her zingers, reported 2 Paragraphs .
Famed for quotes such as “It’s a good thing” as well as her time in prison, Stewart made it clear that she now considers herself a well-seasoned veteran of the art of taking life in stride.
“[Listening to Hart] yell his jokes for an hour [is the ] hardest time [I ever did],” zinged Martha to Kevin.
But her biggest shocker came when the 73-year-old skirted around uttering the N-word in describing Kevin Hart.
“When he finally got his first big paycheck, he spent $150,000 on a watch. I forget that term for that. It’s not… African-American rich…it’ll come to me.”
As the audience audibly gasped, Stewart stopped short of using the term.
So how did social media respond to Martha Stewart? With admiration and shock at just how far the homemaking queen went in attacking everyone at Bieber’s Roast , reported People .
Stewart even attacked Ludacris while inserting a semi-commercial for her line of linens.
“I believe the bedroom is the most important room in the house but I don’t have to tell you that, Ludacris. You have three kids with three different women. May I suggest pulling out some time and finishing on some fine highly absorbent Martha Stewart bed linens?”
Twitter went wild not over Justin but over Martha.
“Martha Stewart reminds me of my memaw when she drinks. Shes a bad b**ch #MarthaStewart #BieberRoast”
“#MarthaStewart low key smackin everyone #BieberRoast”

“‘Playa in the boardroom and freak in the bedroom.’ Things you learn on the #BieberRoast #MarthaStewart”
“Damn. Never would’ve thought #MarthaStewart would be the one who KILLED so far; in fact, both the ladies have killed. #BieberRoast”
“#MarthaStewart on the roast of the #belieber so good. Hail the cooking queen and baddest of them #didtime #thuglife #beastmode”
So with all these blasts at his past, has Justin Bieber changed? As the Inquisitr reported, the young pop star recently softened his image by teaming up with Carly Rae Jepsen and Tom Hanks.
Bieber also made it clear that he’s working more closely with his manager by participating in the single, called “I Really Like You,” which is set to be released in April.
The video features Carly with Bieber and Hanks. Justin followed up the experience with a laudatory tweet to his manager Scooter Braun and Carly. Braun manages both Justin and Carly.
“@carlyraejepsen @scooterbraun today was a great day. I need some rest #IReallyLikeYou video is gonna be amazing”
