WWE News: Kevin Nash To Headline This Year’s WWE Hall Of Fame — WWE To Announce Nash As Newest Inductee On ‘Raw’

It appears that Kevin Nash will be announced as the newest inductee into this year’s WWE Hall of Fame class on Monday’s Raw , which will make this year’s WWE Hall of Fame class the biggest in WWE history, as Nash will be the eighth and final inductee, following “Macho Man” Randy Savage, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Rikishi, The Bushwhackers, Alundra Blayze, Larry Zbyszko and Tatsumi Fujinami ( who will be announced during tomorrow night’s SmackDown .)

Nash hasn’t been the most positive person when it comes to the WWE Hall of Fame over the last couple of years, saying that he would never go in before guys like “Macho Man” Randy Savage and “Ravishing” Rick Rude were in. Furthermore, Nash has said that he wouldn’t care if WWE never inducted him into the Hall of Fame because “it wouldn’t mean anything.”

Last year, WWE inducted Nash’s longtime friend Scott Hall into the WWE Hall of Fame as Razor Ramon, and didn’t acknowledge his WCW run at all. It’s likely that WWE will do the same with Nash, which would mean that he would be going into the Hall of Fame as Diesel, and not Kevin Nash. It’s also been heavily rumored that Shawn Michaels will be inducting Nash into the Hall of Fame.

There is a special edition of the WWE Magazine that is available now where WWE features an article on Kevin Nash going into the WWE Hall of Fame. So, WWE has already spoiled the announcement. Other than the magazine article, both Kevin Nash and WWE have remained silent on the upcoming announcement.

WWE isn’t high on having someone who has passed away headline the WWE Hall of Fame, which is why Nash will be the headliner instead of Randy Savage.

Back in January, Nash and WWE weren’t on the best of terms after WWE suspended Nash after he was arrested following a domestic incident with his son. But, it appears that Nash and WWE have patched things up.

Nash, who is 55, had a very successful run with WWE when he played the Diesel character, as he held the WWE Championship for nearly a year, holding it from November 26, 1994 to November 19, 1995 where he lost to WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart.
