The Comedy Central Roast of Justin Bieber is still on the way . Some of the most vicious jokes from the event have already made it to the internet. While roasts are known for pulling the gloves off and laying into the celebrity being roasted, Justin Bieber got an especially heavy dose of cruelty. According to Roast Master Kevin Hart, the jokes got so bad that he believes Bieber may have actually cried during the roast.

According to Billboard , Hart appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live on March 16 to talk about Justin’s reaction to the comedians who tore into him. During his interview with Kimmel, Hart admitted things got pretty hard to watch, but Justin Bieber did his best to conceal his emotions.

“It went a little rough. I’m not gonna lie,” Hart said. “There was some moments where [I thought] ‘Justin’s gonna cry in the car’.”

According to People, Kevin Hart did commend Justin Bieber for letting the comedians have their say and delivering a fierce rebuttal of his own. But before Justin was allowed to respond, Hart claimed the pop star had a hard time holding it in.

“You know how you look at a person, and they’re trying to have a good time, but you can tell there’s a tear?… It’s a laugh, but it’s not. I kept pointing at him, like, ‘You better hold it back, boy. You don’t let them cameras see it come down.’ He did one knee-slap where I think he covered up a cry.”

While Justin Bieber endured some of the typical jokes about his masculinity and sexuality, there was a slew of even harsher jokes attacking his brazenly reckless celebrity lifestyle and the amount of people who openly despise him. BuzzFeed put together some of the meanest jokes from Justin’s roast, and many of them are painful to read, knowing they were said right to Bieber’s face.

“You have it all,” said comedian Chris D’Elia. “Except love, friends, good parents and a Grammy.”

Surprisingly, one of the most brutal Bieber digs came from basketball star Shaq, who said, “Last year, you were ranked the fifth most hated person of all time. Kim Jong-Un didn’t rank that low. And he uses your music to torture people.”

Perhaps one of the most painful parts of the roast was at the end, where Justin Bieber finally got his say. While Justin got in a few jabs of his own, he took a good portion of his rebuttal apologizing for his bad public behavior and promising to shape up in the future, which only serves to validate the criticisms delivered by the comedians.

What do you think? Did the roast of Justin Bieber go too far?
