WWE News: Could William Shatner And Mr. Belding End Up In A WWE Ring?

WWE loves to bring in celebrities to either promote something they’re doing or even just to pull in viewers that may not normally watch wrestling. The latest celebrity involvement being teased by WWE could certainly bring in some different fans, and it will be a sight to see if Captain Kirk (William Shatner) and Mr. Belding (Dennis Haskins) end up in a wrestling ring.

It is not yet known if Shatner and Haskins will be involved in a wrestling sense or just that of a referee or manager. It isn’t even known if they will end up involved with WWE at all, but the company is teasing it.

WWE superstars Zack Ryder and Adam Rose have gotten into a Twitter war of sorts, and they’ve been going back and forth at one another for some time now. Some of the posts on Twitter are meant to be funny, while others are a tad more insulting.

Of course, Rose would respond with each dig at him from Ryder.

As the Twitter war heats up, the two had started talking about facing off with one another at WrestleMania 31 . That won’t happen now because they are both included in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

Still, that didn’t stop them from continuing their feud on social media. That was when Rose began involving William Shatner , a former RAW guest host, in on the fight, according to WrestleZone . Dennis Haskins has joined in on things, as well.

Yes, Dennis Haskins as in Mr. Belding from S aved By The Bell .

It has been suggested that Shatner has actually offered to be the guest referee for a match pitting Zack Ryder against Adam Rose. Ryder then went on record to state that Haskins could be his manager for the match and oppose the Rosebuds.

With two big cult celebrities getting in on things, WWE jumped on board, of course.

Not only has it been said that both Dennis Haskins and William Shatner are huge wrestling fans, but some connections are deeper. Shatner has been a RAW guest host and he’s also in the WWE Hall of Fame.

There are still two weeks until WrestleMania 31 , and that gives plenty of time for things to change. Rose and Ryder could both be taken out of the battle royal and given their own match so that William Shatner and Dennis Haskins could take part in all the big event festivities.
