There were no winners in the Powerball lottery game on February 28, so that means the jackpot increases to at least $90 million for the next drawing scheduled for Wednesday, March 4.

Although no one won the big prize on Saturday night, three ticket holders played the PowerPlay feature and matched all five numbers, giving three lucky winners $2 million each. According to the Multi-State Lottery Commission, three $2 million winning tickets were sold in Puerto Rico, Tennessee, and Virginia.

The winning numbers drawn on Saturday were 11, 17, 25, 28, 46 and PB 12. Double check your tickets dated February 28 just in case you won one of the many secondary prizes in the Powerball lottery.

According to a previous report from the Inquisitr , there hasn’t been a Powerball jackpot winner since February 11, when three people split a whopping $564.1 million jackpot. The three winning tickets were sold in North Carolina, Puerto Rico, and Texas, and so far, only two people have come forward to claim their money.

The winner in North Carolina has yet to claim his or her ticket for one-third of the jackpot. CBS reports that Marie Holmes , a single mother from Shallotte, North Carolina, claimed her share ($188 million) of the jackpot last week, and an unnamed person came forward to collect a check in Puerto Rico.

How much will you take home if you win the $90 million Powerball jackpot on March 4? The jackpot has a $59.7 million cash value before taxes — not a bad pay day for a $2 investment. Winners can choose a lump sum payout or payments made over the course of 30 years, with the first yearly payment made on the day the winner collects the check from lottery headquarters.

If you do win the Powerball jackpot, or one of the big prizes offered in the multi-state lottery game, it’s best to consult with a financial advisor and an attorney before claiming your prize.
