Pretty Little Liars has been captivating fans since 2010, when we were first drawn in to the web of deceit and drama surrounding its characters. Since then, the four girls at the heart of the story have been through quite a bit — mostly at the hands of “A” — but recent episodes look to bring them action of a pretty different sort. Namely, a dance-off.
Actress Shay Mitchell, who plays Emily on the show, sat down for an interview recently with Entertainment Tonight , where she spilled the dirt on what fans can expect to see in the coming weeks. Mitchell says that there’s one scene in particular that was so fun to shoot for the most recent episode, because it involved working one-on-one with her real-life bestie, Ashley Benson, who plays Hanna on the show.
“Ashley is like my little sister and it’s so much fun whenever we get to hang out, especially in these upcoming episodes where we actually have a dance off,” Mitchell said .
Mitchell made headlines earlier this year when it was announced that she would grace the pages of Maxim . Although her character on the hugely popular ABC Family show is a sweet, innocent teenager, Shay is actually 27 and wasn’t afraid to show some skin in the mag .
(Warning: Possible spoilers)
Fans of the show will know that there have been many, many, many twists and turns from week-to-week involving the identity of “A,” and just what the people of Rosewood are getting up to behind closed doors, and the most recent episode was no exception. Pretty Little Liars keeps us guessing with each storyline, and will likely continue to do so until the series finale. This week saw Mike get busted with a suspicious item he was trying to hide, the revelation that Mona was up to something devious at A’s request, and, of course, more than one romantic drama.
According to People Magazine , the identity of A could now be shifted to a few different people: Aria, Talia, and Bethany Young. While it’s not likely we’ll find out for quite a while who has been tormenting the girls all this time, it is fun to make a guess.
Pretty Little Liars airs on ABC Family at 8 p.m. on Tuesday night.
