As fans know, Desiree and Chris got married in Palos Verdes, California on January 18. Now, Us Weekly shares that Hartsock and Siegfried wed in front of 130 guests in a 15-minute Christian ceremony at the Wayfarers Chapel. It is said that they exchanged handwritten vows that they had kept as a surprise for one another until their time together at the altar.
While Desiree avoided red roses for her wedding bouquet, she still chose a combination that made an impact. Hartsock went with peonies and ranunculus, along with vines in a grouping with ivory and soft pink colors. Chris and Desiree exchanged rose-gold Neil Lane wedding bands in front of family and friends.
Bachelorette fans have heard a lot about Desiree Hartsock’s wedding gowns, and now the site shares photos of the dresses along with her eight bridesmaids and their cranberry silk chiffon Donna Morgan dresses. There were a few familiar “Bachelor Nation” faces in attendance including Brooks Forester, Jason and Molly Mesnick, Ali Fedotowsky, Zak Waddell and Michael Garofola.
The reception was at the Redondo Beach History Library and Chris surprised Desiree with a surprise performance of “Love and Affection” by Matt White. They had a salted caramel and Oreo cake from Sweet and Saucy that featured pink flowers along with some red macarroons on the side.
The newlyweds headed to Hawaii for their honeymoon, and the Daily Mail shared some photos. Desiree and Chris looked blissfully happy as they hit the beach and took in some paddleboarding. Des has said that her wedding was a dream come true, and Bachelorette fans know that she had been anxious for some time to marry Chris.
While it seems that the wedding and honeymoon went off without a hitch, Chris and Desiree hit a bit of a speed-bump upon their return home. It seems that as they returned to their cars at the airport, they discovered that both vehicles had been damaged and some things had been stolen. He even posted a photo of the cars, and fans are bummed for them that this is how they got to start their married life back home.
Despite the hiccup upon their return home, it sounds as if Desiree and Chris had a fairy tale wedding and honeymoon, and Bachelorette fans are thrilled for them. Now will kids be far down the road for Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried?
