Justin Bieber Swings By Laugh Factory Comedy Club, Meets ‘Workaholics’ Erik Griffin

Justin Bieber stepped out at the Laugh Factory comedy club on the Sunset Strip Monday night. The 20-year-old star also met Workaholics star Erik Griffin and other comedians on the night.

Well known for his love of comedy, the Biebs’ visit to the famed venue comes ahead of his highly anticipated Comedy Central roast, which tapes in Los Angeles on March 7.

Back in 2013, Justin posted an Instagram snap of himself watching the cult show. So it’s likely the Canadian was trilled to meet Griffin, even though he isn’t the main star.

“My boy @erikgriffin Montez [Walker] from workaholics,” the newly-dyed brunette singer captioned a pic he shared on the photo-sharing site.

Comedian Nick Lavallee also posed for a memento with Justin.

As did some Los Angeles fans with the hitmaker.

After posting his own Instagram photo of him and Justin with a caption about Workaholics fans, Griffin noted the downing of Instagram (and, parent Facebook) on Tuesday morning and joked that the pair were responsible.

“As long as you love me” #workaholics fans are everywhere!” Erik wrote.

The comedian followed up by tweeting , “I think @justinbieber and I broke Instagram… It was probably mostly him.. But…. #cantlogin.”

At that point in the exchange, comic Chris D’Elia — who is a friend of Bieber — chimed in by tweeting , “@ErikGriffin @justinbieber it was right when he Instagramed your ugly face. That’s what you guys get.”

To which Griffin quipped ,” @chrisdelia @justinbieber come on man he’s cute Oh wait… You’re talking about me. S***.”

The Biebs was recently called “a brave boy” by comedian Jeff Ross, the Roastmaster who will preside over the singer’s upcoming roast. As yet, the rest of the comic line-up and air date isn’t known, and it is reported the singer repeatedly asked for the roasting to mark his 21st birthday [on March 1.]

Ross, 49, recently opened up about his excitement to the New York Daily News .

“Christmas came late this year. I woke up, and my phone was flopping around. My Twitter was blowing up.”

He added, “When I saw it was official, I thought, this is either the best or worst move of his life, depending on how he takes it.”

Ross also seemingly referred to TMZ’s recent report claiming Bieber views his impending roast as “therapy,” and a chance to draw a public line under nearly two years of incidents and bad headlines before moving on positively.

“It can’t help but be cathartic,” said the comedian of Bieber.

“A little tough love seems to be exactly what he’s looking for. I think he’s brave to do it.”

That’s one word for it.
