Critics of President Barack Obama have been harsh in 2015, with Pat Boone openly calling Obama a “traitor in the White House.” Texas Congressman Randy Weber even compared Obama to Adolf Hitler for missing the Paris march that had millions rallying behind Charlie Hebdo in the wake of the shooting by Algerian terrorists linked to al-Qaida and ISIS.
In a related report by the Inquisitr , Russian leader Vladimir Putin has also been compared to Adolf Hitler in the past, not only by Charles Krathammer, but also by Bill and Hillary Clinton and even Prince Charles .
When Pat Boone speaks of President Obama, the closest comparison is Benedict Arnold, American history’s most notorious traitor. While Boone lobs many complaints against Obama, the biggest issue the singer has with the U.S. president is how he’s handled the U.S. military and international affairs.
“Suppose this increasingly arrogant young man, having become commander in chief of the military, begins to quietly fire and replace full admirals and generals who object to his decisions to withdraw from territories gained by the lives of 4,000 brave young Americans, and to issue more orders that will weaken the whole defense system and cost more young American lives. Treason?”
The issue of whether or not Obama should have attended the Paris rally with many other world leaders has some crying foul, including Mr. Weber, who tweeted out the Obama–Hitler comparison on Monday.
“Even Adolph [sic] Hitler thought it more important than Obama to get to Paris. (For all the wrong reasons.) Obama couldn’t do it for right reasons.”
Weber has since apologized for the inflammatory tweet.
“I need to first apologize for my tweet. It was not my intention to trivialize the Holocaust nor to compare the President to Adolf Hitler. The mention of Hitler was meant to represent the face of evil that still exists in the world today. I now realize that the use of Hitler invokes pain and emotional trauma for those affected by the atrocities of the Holocaust and victims of anti-Semitism and hate.”
Pat Boone is not apologetic at all. Although Boone does not address the Paris rally directly, he does make a reference to Obama’s behavior during the Benghazi terrorist attack.
“We can toss in his leaving his command post while a U.S. ambassador and other Americans are under fire and eventually dying … to pack his bags and fly to Las Vegas for a political fundraiser. A definite Benedict Arnold comparison. And, to leave no doubt whatsoever, while our nation is slipping into all-out war against inhuman killers who behead innocent people, this pretender in chief makes the personal decision to release known murderers from a military prison and to send them back to the Mideast, all expenses paid and with no penalty for their crimes, to supposedly ‘rehab’ – and then certainly reassume leadership positions with our murderous enemies.”
What do you think about the allegations by Pat Boone and Randy Weber?
