Eileen Davidson’s success on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has reportedly led to tension between her and her co-star, Lisa Rinna.
Ahead of the fifth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills , Bravo hired Davidson and Rinna to replace Joyce Giraud and Carlton Gebbia, who had appeared on the show for just one season.
Although the soap stars appeared to get a long at first, a new report claims things have since gone awry.
“Lisa had hoped joining the show would help revive her acting career and offer exciting new opportunities,” a source told Radar Online on January 8.
Instead, the source claimed, it has been Eileen Davidson who’s gotten all the attention.
Davidson has become “the instant fan hit on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” an insider said. “Viewers have responded to Eileen’s cool and calm demeanor, and the fact that she is so down to Earth.”
“[Eileen Davidson] also has true class, whereas with Lisa, it just feels like she is trying way too hard. The feedback Lisa has received from joining the show hasn’t been good. In fact, this could hurt her career. She’s jealous of Eileen’s success so far on the show.”
After joining the show, as the Inquisitr reported, Rinna revealed in an interview she was enjoying her time filming, and open to a possible season six return .
“I went into this not disliking anyone on the show,” Rinna told Hollywood Life . “It will be interesting for people to see how that my change or evolve.”
“I am going to be very authentic, be myself and stay grounded. Don’t react to anything, but be the better person and be supportive and empower the women, but that might fly out the window because we are women and we are determined. What I will tell you is that you will see that I am fiercely protective of my family!”
In regard to season six, Rinna said she hadn’t ruled out a return.
“Who knows! They have to ask me back. If it is meant to be then it is meant to be. I had a really good time, I really did. It was a great job. It was nice to be involved with something that I could be around my children, to be here in LA and my husband [Harry Hamlin] who is working all over the place, it affords him to do that and we can balance things, so it worked out!”
