Is there trouble in paradise for the former The Bachelor star Andi Dorfman and her fiancé Josh Murray? While they previously said that they want to get married as soon as possible, they’re now saying that they have decided to hold off on planning their wedding.
In an interview with People at the premiere of Chris Soules’ season of The Bachelor on Monday, January 5, Andi confessed that not much is happening on the wedding front. When asked whether she’ll be designing her wedding dress, Andi said she and Josh have decided to take it slow.
“I think now that all of this is starting again, it’s time to take a little break and make a little home in Atlanta and figure it out there.”
However, Dorfman did say that some of the women from her season of The Bachelorette will be invited to her wedding and even be a part of the wedding party. One of the women she’ll likely have in her wedding is Juan Pablo Galavis’ ex, Nikki Ferrell . The two got close while competing for Juan Pablo and have continued to stay close. Andi posted a photo of her and Josh watching The Bachelor premiere with Nikki.
In a previous interview with People in October 2014, Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray said that they they liked the idea of a spring or summer wedding . They even talked excitedly about shopping for the wedding dress together and picking out wedding bands.
While Andi didn’t talk about her career aspirations, a reason for her and Josh taking a step back from wedding planning may be so that she can concentrate on her fledgling fashion design and blogging career. She wore a dress that she designed and made herself to the premiere, claiming that she couldn’t find anything to wear. While she couldn’t find a dress, she was able to procure Jimmy Choo shoes and a Jimmy Choo clutch to go along with the dress.
About a month ago, Andi revealed that she designed a T-shirt for clothing brand Southward Apparel. Shortly after, she unveiled her new lifestyle blog. She has not resumed her previous career as a lawyer and it doesn’t seem as if she has any plans on going back to her assistant district attorney job.
Unfortunately, not everyone liked what Andi Dorfman wore to The Bachelor premiere with Josh Murray. Several people commented that the dress was the wrong color and did not flatter Andi at all. In response to Dorfman’s blog, several people bashed her for selling out rather than continuing to put her education to good use.
