Two missing teens from Gallatin, Tennessee disappeared on Christmas Day and haven’t been seen since. WLKY News reports that police need help locating 16-year-old Kathryn Allman and 17-year-old Tristen Dutiel.
Authorities believe both Allman and Dutiel are in the Louisville, Kentucky area due to credit card activity being traced there; the card was stolen from Allman’s mother. Tristen has friends and family around Newark, Ohio.
One of the concerns surrounding Allman’s disappearance is that she’s endangered because she has an asthma condition and doesn’t have her medication with her. It’s speculated that Allman is with Dutiel, who’s a missing juvenile from Sumner County. He’s described as 6’2? and 150 pounds with short brown hair. Allman has reddish-brown hair that’s shoulder length, and she’s 5’3? at 150 pounds. She was last seen wearing a long-sleeved pink shirt with black leggings.
In a report by The Tennessean , Bill Storment of the Gallatin Police Department says Kathryn Allman and Tristen Dutiel left the Hendersonville area in a taxi cab and likely went to to Nashville and on to Louisville, Kentucky. It’s there where the debit card and gift cards show they’ve been used.
If anyone has any information regarding the missing teens, they are asked to call the Gallatin Police Department at 615-452-1313.
In Staten Island, New York Christmas night, three teens went missing after visiting Rockefeller Center to see the Christmas tree. One of the girls has been found — Elizabeth Farrow, 16. Police say Farrow was found safe on Saturday, but Sonia Gomez, 16, and Ariyanna Fisher, 15, are still missing. All three teens missing live at a youth facility for female youth offenders in Staten Island, Staten Island Live reports. The facility is called Staten Island Close-to-Home.
A spokeswoman for the Administration for Children’s Services says that the girls ran away from a staff member at Rockefeller Center.
Farrow willingly went back to the youth facility, but the other two girls remain on the run.
Spokeswoman Jill Krauss issued a statement in the other two girls’ disappearance.
“ACS is working closely with our Close-to-Home Provider, the Children’s Village, and the NYPD to locate young people who ran away from a trip to Rockefeller Center. Three young women left the group without permission on Thursday evening; one has returned, and we and our partners continue to diligently search for the other two.”
The missing teens in Tennessee and New York appear to be runaways and not victims of kidnappings.
