The Big Bang Theory fans will be sad to know that there’s no new episode of the show airing tonight, but here’s some good news for those suffering from the holiday blues: Next week The Big Bang Theory will return with a very Shamy Christmas.
According to Unreality TV , next week’s episode is titled “The Clean Room Infiltration.” Unfortunately for Sheldon, Amy has big plans for Christmas that go beyond hanging mistletoe in every doorway in hopes of scoring another kiss — she’s throwing a Victorian-themed Christmas party for her friends, complete with figgy pudding and parlor games.
This might sound like fun to most human beings, but of course Sheldon has a problem with it. The old Scrooge is unhappy that Amy is forcing him to celebrate Christmas (or Saturnalia), so he cooks up a way to get revenge on his unsuspecting girlfriend. You’d think Sheldon would love Christmas after getting a napkin signed by Leonard Nemoy from Penny a few years ago, but perhaps he thinks that there’s no way Amy will be able to appease him by topping that gift. You can relive Sheldon’s amazing reaction to Penny’s present below.
Spoiler TV recently shared some set photos from The Big Bang Theory , and you can see Amy’s Christmas party taking place in the photo below.
One photo from “The Clean Room Infiltration” actually shows Sheldon smiling while he hands Amy a gift, so it looks like he eventually gets over his bad case of the Bah-humbugs.
As you can see, Amy actually loves the gift, which appears to be a framed photo. Could it be a sentimental picture that shows Amy just how much Sheldon really loves her ?
It looks like this year’s Christmas episode of The Big Bang Theory will have a How the Grinch Stole Christmas vibe. At first Sheldon will try to drain Amy’s holiday spirit away, but Shamy will have a very merry Christmas after Sheldon’s heart grows three sizes on Christmas day.
Before Shamy and their friends get to exchange gifts, Leonard and Howard will have to survive some sort of work emergency. It’s so bad that they ask Raj to help them, and it requires them to dress up in festive white onesies that make the guys look like living snowmen. Judging from the episode’s title, they’ll be cleaning up a mess.
If you can’t get enough of seeing Jim Parsons celebrate Christmas on TV, you’re in luck. According to Broadway World , The Big Bang Theory star will voice Buddy the elf in NBC’s upcoming Christmas special, Elf: Buddy’s Musical Christmas . It’s based on the Will Ferrell movie Elf and the Broadway play of the same name, and it uses stop-motion animation to pay homage to the classic Rankin-Bass Christmas specials that air every year. The Big Bang Theory Christmas episode “The Clean Room Infiltration” will air December 11 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS, and Elf: Buddy’s Musical Christmas will air December 16 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
