The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 5 premiered earlier this week on Bravo, but fans still can’t stop talking about a scene from the trailer, which featured Brandi Glanville slapping her co-star, Lisa Vanderpump. Glanville has played coy, as the Inquisitr has reported, in regard to whether or not she was behind the slap , but eventually Vanderpump revealed it was her.
According to the Inquisistr , Vanderpump told Andy Cohen that Glanville had hit her in the face during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live earlier this week.
On Tuesday night, toofab ‘s Anna Kachikyan spoke to Glanville about her infamous slap at the premiere of Bravo’s Girlfriends Guide to Divorce .
“I swear they added a sound effect to it! I might have been there and I don’t think it was like that,” she insisted. “I can’t tell you anything. I’ve got a list of what I’m allowed to talk about and I think I’ve broken all those rules.”
Glanville told TooFab she was “excited” and “nervous” about the new season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills .
“You’ve lived it and now you’re going to re-live it with everyone weighing in on it, so it’s just crazy what you have to go through. You have to go back and talk about it all over again, watch it all over again, see what they show and don’t show, figure out what everyone, the public, social media thinks. You put yourself out there for a lot of ridicule and you just have to have a really tough skin.”
Although Glanville has been known for her honesty on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills , her comments haven’t always come without regret.
“I do every year. I think we all do. We watch it back and go ‘Oh, I was an a**hole’ and you gotta relive it anyway. As long as you can see that you’re not perfect, I’m not perfect, no one on the show is perfect, then hopefully we can move forward. The ones who think they’re perfect are the ones that have the serious problems.”
Regarding her relationship with Glanville, Vanderpump explained to Cohen, via Reality Tea , “I think we were on the right track and I did give it a second go-round, but if you see in the trailer she gets a little physical with me. She’s stabbed me in the back and now she wants to slap me in the face. I don’t know, I think after this time we’re kind of done, to be honest.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 5 airs on Tuesday nights at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
