The idea for Channing Tatum’s divorce sprung from the minds of celeb magazine Star , and the idea that he and his wife may be divorcing to the tune of $50 million was enough to make them officially respond.

“It’s all bulls**t. These people just [make it up],” said Channing, according to E! Online . “Some of our family members don’t see [it’s not true], and they read a stupid thing and don’t understand it’s a tabloid.”

Although Channing Tatum’s divorce is not real, he does admit he has the usual problems juggling career and family life.

“I can’t schedule my life and give my daughter all the time that I want to give her and also my wife and all the creative stuff,” said Channing. “You can’t really physically be fully present — mentally, spiritually. And that’s my struggle: putting things in perspective [and] being there for everything.”

Jenna Dewan-Tatum also released her own statement about the divorce rumors started by Star magazine.

“But this is our world– where mags can concoct outright lies about real people in order to sell it to you as ‘journalism’,” said Jenna. “Hope we all think hard about what this means and start to demand better. I know we can. Love y’all.”

The Tatum family is not even having any marital issues at all, according to reports. In fact, at this moment their biggest issue in their married life is whether they should stay in Hollywood Hills or a buy a new home in Ojai, California. Channing is apparently trying to entice his wife into the move because he “loves the country” and would be “immensely happy.”
