Brandi Glanville and the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills are returning for a fifth season later this month, and earlier this week Bravo released the highly anticipated trailer.
In one of the more dramatic moments captured in the Season 5 sneak peek, Glanville appeared to slap her co-star, Lisa Vanderpump, in the face. As the Inquisitr reported, the identity of the woman wasn’t 100 percent clear, as she was facing her back to the camera , but many assumed the tall blonde cast member was Glanville.
Then, in an interview with Access Hollywood , Vanderpump further hinted it was Glanville who slapped her. According to the Inquisitr , Vanderpump said fans could clearly make out who was behind the hit , and claimed the moment changed the dynamic between her and her co-star.
Brandi Glanville, however, isn’t taking credit for the hit — at least not yet.
“You know, I don’t even think you can make out who slapped who in the end of that trailer,” Glanville revealed to E! News while promoting her new app, the Blunder Block, on November 6. “You’ll have to definitely wait and find out what happened.”
As for her and Vanderpump’s relationship, Glanville admitted they’ve had their issues. “Lisa and my relationship, you know, we have our ups and downs. I really care about her and I know she really cares about me too, so you’ll all see how that ends up,” she said.
“I’ve never been hit in the face. It was a bit of a shock,” Vanderpump told Billy Bush of the hit to the face.
Glanville went on to tell E! News of the drama that is to come on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 5.
“The trailer is only half of the craziness. There’s things that they didn’t show that I really thought they would show in the trailer that people are going to freak out … I think we start a little like, reserved, and then it just hits full alert and it’s cray cray.”
“We should all be ashamed ourselves,” Glanville added. “I mean we’re definitely not setting any good examples for middle aged women.”
Glanville also addressed her other on-again, off-again friend Kyle Richards, whom fans have seen her feud with and be friends with throughout Glanville’s three seasons on the show. “She’s two faced, that’s the problem,” Glanville said of Richards.
