If you’ve set a goal of Keeping Up With The Kardashians along with Kim and Khloe , you might want to invest in a big sturdy scale. Both sisters have set new weight loss goals after confessing they gained recently. And when it comes to Kim Kardashian’s battle of the bulge , the fashionista frets that she has gained 20 pounds in just a couple of years, revealed OK magazine.
Kim recently went on a low carb diet and lost weight. But she admits that now she’s battling the bulge again.
“I feel like I’m gaining it back,” wailed the designer dress diva. “It’s hard.”
Kardashian celebrated her 34th birthday in grand style, but the festivities, combined with vacations for her wedding, have made following her low carb diet even more difficult. Get a glimpse of her birthday party below.
Now that little North West is more than a year old, Kim feels that her post-pregnancy pounds should have melted away. However, she admits that her body isn’t the same.
“A couple of years ago the scales said I was 20 lbs. thinner than I am now, but after you have a baby your body changes. But it’s been over a year so I have no more excuses. If I could lose like 10lb, that would be ideal.”
As the Inquisitr reported, Kim is using a combination of the high fat low carb Atkins diet and exercise . The Atkins plan is based on the principles of nutritional ketosis, which shifts the body into fat-burning mode.
“Atkins is not a 1,200-calorie diet that leaves you hungry,” said Colette Heimowitz, author of The New Atkins Made Easy . “People have reported losing up to 10 pounds in two weeks. Some could lose up to 14 pounds in two weeks.”
But following the diet when you love carbohydrates, as Kim has confessed, isn’t easy. That’s where her plan to make time for extra exercise comes into play. She works out regularly with celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak, who also trains Kanye West.
While Kim’s wake-up call came from her faithful scales, Khloe Kardashian experienced her own weight gain realization when she split her jeans seams, noted Fashion & Style .
The embarrassing fashion flop occurred when Khloe was attending the Made in America fest to watch Kanye perform.
“I had to wear a baggier top because I had rolls hanging over my jeans,” confessed the reality TV star. “I was like, ‘Oh, I feel fat.’”
But it all got worse when she had her catastrophe and remembered she’d forgotten her underwear.
“I started dancing [and] the whole a** of my jeans ripped. So I had to wrap someone’s t-shirt around my waist because my whole pants ripped, but I saved those jeans with the rip.”

Khloe relies on celebrity trainer Gunnar Peterson, but ruefully admits that it is much more difficult to lose weight than to gain.
“He has changed my body,” praised Khloe. “It takes like two months to gain weight…it takes like six months to lose that much weight!”
