The current WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Brock Lesnar, is having one of the best years in his WWE career. 2014 probably has surpassed the accolades attained during in his rookie year — which includes becoming the youngest WWE World Heavyweight Champion at that time before Randy Orton dethroned him – because he has big-name accomplishments that nobody else will ever be able to claim. The Inquisitr reported on such, including Lesnar ending the most amazing streak in WWE history and decimating John Cena like nobody has ever done before.
However, Brock Lesnar’s current run is a bit unique, especially for a WWE World Heavyweight Champion. The reason why is because he is working as a part-timer. As of late, Lesnar has been M.I.A. from WWE. There are even articles reporting that we won’t see “The Beast Incarnate” return until the 2015 Royal Rumble. Not to worry though because newer reports are coming in that we’ll get our Brock Lesnar fix sooner than that! Advertisements read that he’ll appear at the December 8th live taping of WWE Monday Night RAW !
According to an article by Wrestling Edge , it reports that the 2014 WWE Slammy Awards has been moved to December 8 during the live taping of WWE Monday Night RAW at the Bon Secours Center in Greenville. What is unique about the announcement is a specific detail that is lifting eyebrows just like The Rock, in which it reads the following.
“Raw Main Event: John Cena and Dean Ambrose vs Money in the Bank Contract Winner Seth Rollins and Kane. Plus, you’ll see WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar, WWE COO Triple H… And The Slammy Awards will take place live in Greenville.”
Notice that it said we’ll see Brock Lesnar? Good news, right? However, Give Me Sport wanted to make it clear that the reason for Lesnar’s appearance is unknown. This is an awards night for the company, so he could simply be presenting, receiving, or even just handing out one of the coveted Slammy Awards. However, we do hope we’ll at least get one of those awesome Paul Heyman “advocate” promos.
Nevertheless, Brock Lesnar showing up on the show will be a huge ratings boost because by the time of his appearance, he would have been out of action or at least off-television for about four months. WWE may be using Lesnar’s star power to end the year in some form of good financial health.
