WWE: Dave Batista May Be The James Bond 24 Villain Hinx?

WWE wrestler Dave Batista, whose real name is David Bautista, has become quite popular as a movie star with the recent success of Guardians Of The Galaxy , but now it’s believed the Animal may be set to portray the James Bond 24 villain named Hinx.

In a related report by the Inquisitr , although Kate Upton, Lucy Watson, and Joanne Froggatt all have expressed a desire to become the next Bond Girl, it’s currently believed French actress Léa Seydoux could be the female lead in the Bond 24 cast. There’s also been some talk of the origin story of James Bond being revealed in a new comic book series; but if you want a real twist, check out Idris Elba wanting to be the first black James Bond .

The word about the James Bond villain first went out when a leaked casting call was put out onto the internet for James Bond 24 .

“We are looking to follow in the tradition of JAWS and ODDJOB in finding an iconic baddy.”

“Hinx (Male, 30 – 45)”

“Ideally over 6? 2?. Hinx is the main henchman/assassin. We are looking for an imposing extremely physically fit actor. He has several fights with Bond and will have to have stunt training. He has to drive. We are looking for someone very unusual, possibly from a sports background.”

“Height: 180cm – 195cm”

Dave Batista just happens to be meet those specifications for Hinx. Batista happens to be 45 years old and he stands at six foot, six inches. Unless Batista happens to be a very bad driver, he’s obviously more than qualified for any fight scenes.

According to Wrestling Inc. , Dave Batista did indeed manage to land the role and filming for James Bond 24 will start on December 6, 2014. But if that is the case, it’s possible Batista may put his wrestling career on hold and any participation plans for Royal Rumble 2015 and WrestleMania 31 may be nixed.

“It’s also expected Batista will be returning for a run toward WrestleMania, perhaps ending up as his farewell run, because he noted that at 45 (he’ll be 46 early next year), he knows his time is limited and was looking at doing a program with HHH for Mania as his farewell.”

Previous reports claim WWE officials were hoping Batista would hold off on his Hollywood career for a little longer. When Batista discussed the possibility of his return with Chris Jericho, he was quite clear he wanted some sort of control over WWE creative if he were to commit 100 percent to the company.

“I hope so…I want to go back, I miss it. I love it (but) they need to work with me on creative, you know creative stuff man. You know I really want…I’d like to have more creative control. It’s like sometimes they argue with you just to argue with you when you know this is the route we should be going and we end up going that route anyway but it’s usually like three weeks too late.”

The reason Dave Batista said something like that was because he was originally promised he would face Randy Orton at WrestleMania 30 for the WWE World Heavyweight Title. The plan was for him to hold the title just long enough before he had to return to his duties promoting Guardians Of The Galaxy . Obviously, none of that occurred, leaving Batista feeling shortchanged.
