Adolf Hitler has been accused of being a secret crystal meth addict, while details over how he allegedly had sex with his wife, Eva Braun, have also been unveiled.

Martin Amis, an award-winning novelist, made the accusations at the Cheltenham Festival of Literature, and he believes that the leader of the Nazi party was actually OCD.

The 65-year-old writer declared that Hitler “would fortify his underpants with clean serviettes and then would go into some form of excitation with Eva Braun at a safe distance.”

Amis made these discoveries while conducting research for his book, Zone of Interest , which is set in the Nazi-era. However, he went on to declare that Hitler’s sexuality was still a “black hole,” and that he believes he was insane.

But this isn’t the only revelation to have come out about Hitler over the last few days. A new British documentary has claimed that he was addicted to the drug crystal meth, which was infamously made in Breaking Bad .

The Daily Star have reported that a Channel 4 program, Hitler’s Hidden Drug Habit , airing later this month will document how he regularly took the drug, and that it caused him to have heart problems and paranoia. It also declares that American military made a 47-page report about Hitler, which noted how he took 74 different medications and was a raging hypochondriac.

It’s been alleged that Hitler took crystal meth during a meeting with Benito Mussolini, the Italian dictator, in 1943. He then shouted and ranted at his ally for around two hours, and it’s believed he didn’t stop speaking the entire time.

During his last days in a Berlin bunker, the Fuhrer was also injected with the drug around nine times by his doctor, Dr. Theodor Morell. Hitler consumed the drug as a pill, which was called Pervitin.

According to Yahoo! News, in the National Geographic’s program Nazi Underworld — Hitler’s Drug Use Revealed , psychiatrist professor Nassir Ghaemi also makes numerous revelations regarding Hitler’s problem.

“It’s not whether Hitler was an amphetamine addict or not – it’s that Hitler had bipolar disorder and amphetamines made it worse. That is the issue. That has never been described before and that would explain a lot why Hitler changed in the late 1930s and the 1940s.”

Bill Panagopoulos, the American collector who discovered and now possesses the dossier, also revealed, “Morell was a quack and a fraud and a snake oil salesman. He should not have been practicing medicine anywhere outside a veterinary clinic.”

Meanwhile, the show will also declare that Hitler was given medication to try and cure stomach cramps, regularly took cocaine to “clear his sinuses,” as well as a drug that contained bull semen to try and boost his testosterone levels, while he also “suffered from uncontrollable flatulence.”

Another 178-page report, which was compiled by one of Hitler’s six physicians, Dr Erwing Giesing, and is dated 12 June, 1945, also helped lead to these surprising discoveries.
