Anne Hathaway is no longer a vegan, and she wants to be daring – so she decided to pose topless in the November 2014 issue of Harper’s Bazaar .

The entire issue is dedicated to being daring and, according to the interview printed within it, Anne Hathaway feels as if that is right up her alley now more than ever before.
“I am getting more daring now—I’ll wear my mom jeans in public that haven’t been tailored ‘just so’ yet, just because they feel good.”
Anne Hathaway went on to state that this new “daring” lifestyle is definitely not something that she was willing to try in the past, primarily because of the harsh opinions of other people.
“For a long time I was afraid of the harsh things people would say about me, but I might as well be happy.”
During the interview, Anne Hathaway was also asked to name people that she personally felt were daring as well. Ironically, the Oscar-winning actress decided to select three other Oscar winners. Actress Tilda Swinton is “so cool about” being daring, and actor Matthew McConaughey is “the most daring man” that Anne knows primarily because “he never judged himself along the way and it’s all come together for him.” Hathaway also named film director Jonathan Demme – a man who she still credits as being her “mentor and hero.”
Giving up her vegan lifestyle was a very big step for Anne Hathaway, especially since she has been known publicly for sticking to it for years. For example, according to eCorazzi, she publicly stated that she had a “ crisis of conscience ” when filming Les Miserables because she had to step on dead fish. While shooting the highly-anticipated film Interstellar , Anne Hathaway stated in her interview with Harper’s Bazaar that giving up the vegan lifestyle made her feel “good” and “healthy.”
“I just didn’t feel good or healthy…not strong. [After eating fish] from a stream I could see from where I was sitting, [I] just felt better.”
Even with her new “daring” lifestyle, there are still quite a few people that do not like Anne Hathaway at all.
