A bear cub was discovered wondering among the veggies at Tatsuda’s IGA, a grocery store, in Ketchikan, Alaska. The small bear was caught on video going through broccoli, carrots, onions and other produce right in front of onlookers and policemen who were called to the scene.
According to store manager Joe Stollar who shot the video, the bear went inside the store through the automatic doors are 5:45 pm. A customer took the courage to pick up the cub and placed outside the store in the hope that mama bear would be waiting for her lost child.
Stollar can be heard on the video saying that he thought the grocery’s public announcement system said that there was a bird in the store.
The bear can also be heard crying after being picked up, probably annoyed that the meat section is nowhere to be found.
