Teresa Giudice wasn’t really in the best of moods when she arrived at Studio 37 in New York City to tape The Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion over the weekend. According to Radar Online , Teresa showed up three hours late to the taping , and things only got worse once she arrived. Apparently she couldn’t contain herself. Teresa allegedly cried frequently throughout the taping, and at one point she stormed off the set.
“Teresa is absolutely still in denial, and did her best to dodge all questions about the prison sentence. She would get very emotional and storm off the set, and come back a few minutes later,” revealed a source.
Teresa Giudice was sentenced to 15 months in prison on Thursday, after a judge decided that prison was the only option in the fraud case involving Teresa and her husband Joe (he was sentenced to 41 months behind bars). The RHONJ reunion taping lasted eight hours, and sources say that it will air in multiple parts on Bravo. Of course, the network is going to milk every moment of this, because ratings are going to go through the roof due to curiosity. There are quite a few people who want to see how Teresa is going to act and what she’s going to say now that her fate has been decided.
As previously reported by The Inquisitr , Teresa and Joe’s first post-sentencing interview was with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live! The episode airs tonight on Bravo.
Teresa Giudice didn’t exactly leave everyone at the reunion feeling bad for her. According to TMZ , Teresa’s attitude made just about everyone upset. The other women — including the twins, Amber, Dina, and Melissa — weren’t too pleased to Teresa, and the whole day was a mess.
It’s not too difficult to understand where Teresa is coming from, and no one expected her to sit with a smile on her face. However, if she couldn’t properly manage her feelings, perhaps she shouldn’t have been involved in the taping. Contract or no contract, Bravo could have rescheduled the taping (even though this is reportedly what the network wanted, as they previously rescheduled to film after Teresa and Joe’s court date). Or Teresa should have sat this one out.
It’s hard to say what will happen between Teresa and Joe, but things aren’t going to get any easier for them over the next few years. It is presumed that the couple won’t be on The Real Housewives of New Jersey next season… or maybe ever again. It’s not that Bravo is going to fire Teresa per se, but she really can’t do the show from prison… so there’s that.
