ISIS, the militant Islamist group who have successfully taken over huge swathes of land in the Middle East and declared a Caliphate state in parts of Syria and Iraq, are now threatening America, Hollywood style with a new online movie trailer.
The message of the video, which is made extremely professionally and could rival any Hollywood blockbuster in visual appearance and impact, is clear; to violently scare ISIS’ opponents into submission with fear.
The Independent reports that the clip, entitled Flames of War: Fighting Has Just Begun , which was made by the Islamic State’s Al Hayat Media Center, is just 52 seconds long, about the same length as some movie trailers, and shows scene after scene of gratuitous violence against innocent people at the hands of ISIS militants.
As the images flash on the screen the mesmerising “ISIS theme tune,” which features in all of their debauch and barbaric videos , plays softly in the background, almost leaving one excited to see the full movie, until they remember what they’re really watching before their eyes.
Some commentators have noted that by using professional videography and utilizing social media, ISIS have been very successful in getting their message out their and recruiting young Muslims from Europe and North America at an alarming rate.
The images in the clip are spliced with President Obama’s recent comments to “degrade and ultimately destroy” ISIS, as American tanks can be seen being hit by ISIS rockets.
The disturbing video clip ends with the ominous words “Coming Soon” in English and Arabic in a cynical mockery of all the things ISIS and their associates hate about America and the values she stands for.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday, U.S. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Martin Dempsey said he recommends deploying ground forces against ISIS in Iraq, in direct contradiction to Obama’s comments last week,
“My view at this point is that this coalition is the appropriate way forward….But if it fails…then I of course would go back to the president and make a recommendation that may include the use of U.S. military ground forces,” said Dempsey.
You can watch the new ISIS video clip , which was posted on YouTube here and while powerful, you will be relieved that it is only 52 seconds long.
