The Basset Hound, though the breed is known as a hunting dog, is actually one of the friendliest dogs around. They’re known as great family pets who get along well with children — and here’s a viral video that shows just that.

Basset Hounds are generally known for chilling out around the house, and, when they’re not out hunting — which for most pet Basset Hounds is not very often — they can be rather lazy. But when Zoe gets around Charlotte, she’s anything but laid back.
Combining a fun-loving dog and a happy toddler, this video has all of the ingredients to put a smile on your face for a long time.
You may even want to go out and adopt a Basset Hound yourself . But if you can’t find one, experts rate Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers and poodles as some of the other best breeds when it comes to interacting with children.
