Disney has done it again! Just when you think the craze is settling down a bit around Frozen , the most successful animated film of all time, guess again. Frozen Fever is just around the bend in an all new Disney Short that is scheduled to be released in the Spring of 2015 as revealed by E!Online !
As you pick yourself back up off the floor, and wipe the sweat from your brow, get ready for some of the best news you’ve heard all week. The key folks are coming back together to create this spectacular Frozen Fever short, including directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee. Producer Peter Del Vecho and the famous songwriters, Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez (Let It Go), will also reunite.
At this point in time, there has been no confirmation as to whether Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel (the voices of Anna and Elsa) will return in their beloved roles. But, as popular as the movie has been, earning $1.27 billion worldwide, it’s hard to believe they wouldn’t want to be a part of it. Hello Giggles has reported, however, that everyone’s favorite snowman, Olaf, will most certainly make an appearance.
Disney revealed the basic plot to Inside Movies :
“Frozen Fever will take place on Anna’s birthday as Kristoff the reindeer-preferring ice-gatherer and the mystical, chill-inducing Elsa try to stage a royal celebration. Although Elsa’s icy powers are no longer a secret in the kingdom, her control of them is still a bit iffy.”
It would seem that Elsa’s powers may put some things at risk — including the fun at the party.
According to Hello Giggles , although this is not a full-length sequel, it is rumored that the short will be an opener for a new release Disney Film. Rumor has it that it could possibly be the live-action Cinderella movie starring Cate Blanchett as the wicked stepmother and and Lily James as the beautiful Cinderella. We’ll just have to wait and see.
While we wait, let’s enjoy one of the most favorite moments in the glorious film Frozen.
