Juan Pablo Galavis and Nikki Ferrell of The Bachelor have spent a luxurious few days off on vacation together, and just as they are returning, confirmation of their participation in this fall’s Couples Therapy emerges. Is there trouble in paradise? Will these two beat the odds and expectations of many viewers and manage to make their relationship last?
People confirms what many The Bachelor fans have known for months: Juan Pablo and Nikki are doing the next season of the VH1 show Couples Therapy . While the rest of the cast was released some time ago, it wasn’t until now Reality Steve’s previous spoilers about Galavis and Ferrell being involved were confirmed.
From the looks of the preview, there will be a lot of talk about how Juan Pablo has held back on saying “I love you” to Nikki. The two have been together for nearly a year now, given when filming of The Bachelor took place, but it doesn’t look like fans should start watching for an engagement anytime soon. While Juan Pablo and Nikki were together for Galavis’ birthday recently and they just took a trip to Bali, it doesn’t sound like they’re getting too serious about the future at this point. They are still living in separate states, and Galavis still typically sounds fairly non-committal.
Nikki says in the Couples Therapy preview she tells him a lot that she loves him, but she doesn’t expect him to say it back. She adds, “Maybe one day, he will.” She says they haven’t really been together that long, “But he does; he loves me. He’s committed to this.”
What does Juan Pablo say? In the preview he says, “Is she the one or not? That’s a great question.” He adds, “I think she’s on the right track. Everything she does that I don’t like, I’m like, ‘Is this gonna work?’” That phrasing will probably rankle fans who have doubts about this The Bachelor couple already, but people will have to tune into Couples Therapy to see how it all falls into place.
Those fans of The Bachelor who follow Juan Pablo and Nikki on social media know they just spent some time together in Bali. While the social media posts hint to many that this was probably a trip offered to them in exchange for some promotion, it does look like it was a great vacation. Will all of that quality time together translate into plans forming for a future together? Fans will have to stay tuned to find out.
Couples Therapy season 5 premieres on Sept. 10. Of course Bachelor fans can surely expect to see Juan Pablo Galavis and Nikki Ferrell together throughout the airing of the season, but what comes after that? Many are curious and can’t wait to find out.
