American Journalist Beheaded By ISIS: Will Barack Obama Avenge James Foley’s Barbaric Murder?

Following a gruesome video posted by Islamic State terrorists, also known as ISIS, of the barbaric beheading of American journalist James Foley on Tuesday, questions are being asked about how President Obama intends to punish the people who perpetrated the heinous act.

The video, which is a stark reminder to Americans of the modus operandi of ISIS, speaks for itself in terms of the message it is conveying, and the agenda it is pushing.

Entitled A Message To America, the clip also showed another U.S. journalist, Steven Sotloff, who was being kept alive, with his death being dependent on further U.S. airstrikes against ISIS positions.

It is clear that Obama’s failed policy of appeasement in the Middle East hasn’t worked at all. In fact, Obama’s lack of a coherent foreign policy has created chaos on the ground, as well as making the threat against America far more serious as ISIS takes over village after village in Iraq and Syria, leaving death and destruction in its wake .

White House National Security Council spokeswoman Caitlin Hayden said in a statement about the barbaric murder of James Foley, “If genuine, we are appalled by the brutal murder of an innocent American journalist and we express our deepest condolences to his family and friends.”

What makes the incident even more dangerous to the West is the fact that the person dressed in black garb in the video who chopped of Foley’s head while he was still alive, spoke to the camera with a strong British accent, so could have been a British national.

Prime Minister David Cameron even interrupted his vacation to return to London in order to try and identify the killer. Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond said he was not surprised to hear the British accent and that large numbers of British nationals were fighting in Iraq and Syria.

“Our intelligence services will be looking very carefully on both sides of the Atlantic at this video to establish its authenticity, to try to identify the individual concerned and then we will work together to try to locate him,” Hammond told reporters.

Is President Obama going to take revenge on ISIS for the gruesome beheading of James Foley? Is there anything he can do in terms of airstrikes and arming an effective opposition to ISIS in order to get rid of them?

These and many questions remain unanswered as the American people, as well as the right-minded people of Europe, look to their leadership in the hope that they won’t wake up one morning to find ISIS on their doorstep.
