WWE World Heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar is taking the world by storm. He destroyed, in one word, John Cena two nights ago at WWE SummerSlam. It was Cena’s worst loss in history, as the WWE Universe booed Cena out of the Staples Center on a brilliantly-planned Sunday evening in Los Angeles.
For the past month, the skeptics paraded their outspoken opinions about his part-time schedule and that no WWE champion should be a part-time worker. However, Lesnar and Paul Heyman are the best in the world right now. Nobody will be able to touch them for quite some time.
With Roman Reigns rumored to take on Lesnar at WrestleMania 31, there are seven months between then and now. How long will Lesnar be with WWE as champion? Reports are circulating that Lesnar may be here longer than anticipated.
WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar is not being advertised to appear on next week’s Raw.
The next Raw that WWE has Lesnar advertised for is from Lafayette on September 15th, which will be the final one before the Night of Champions pay-per-view.
As announced on last night’s Raw, John Cena will be back on next week’s WWE Raw from Anaheim.
Cena is supposed to be taking some time off in the near future to sell Lesnar’s destruction upon his body, but also to heal up after carrying the company for many months. When CM Punk started his rise to stardom in 2011, Cena took a backseat for about two years. That sounds asinine, but Punk was booked as the top guy and Cena played secondary to his success.
In other words, Cena put over Punk in a big way. Now, this situation is different, but Cena put over Lesnar and will continue to for the next few months. Regardless, Reigns, Seth Rollins and Bray Wyatt need the spotlight. With Cena and Dean Ambrose taking time off, the WWE will be showcasing new talents in an emphatic way very soon.
Clearly, this is the Lesnar and Heyman era that the WWE Universe will have to get acclimated to. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon presented Lesnar with the newly-updated WWE World Heavyweight championship belt on Raw last night. Just like the Rock debuted the new championship belt, Lesnar will spearhead the next season with a monstrous attitude.
Without a doubt, Lesnar is the right person with the championship right now. No matter what, people were all over social media last night when Heyman was promoting his client, as well as Cena.
@HeymanHustle is WWE’s best heel, best talker, and arguably, the weekly MVP.

Ross also said on Twitter last night that in order to put the talent over, Cena has to stay away from the main event. That’s why he will be taking that precious time off. There’s one question that will be on the mind of WWE Universe members for the foreseeable future: who’s next for Lesnar?
