ISIS terrorist fighters may already be in the United States. The Islamic militants currently on the a path to conquer a significant portion of the Middle East to create a caliphate could be positioning themselves for a strike on America.
While making the rounds on the Sunday news shows, Senators Lindsey Graham and John McCain said that hundreds of men desiring to fight on behalf of ISIS have gone to the Middle East to train and then returned to their homes in the United States and Europe. “There’s 100 of them that we are tracking in the United States,” Republican Senator John McCain said.
During a segment on CNN’s State of the Union show Senator McCain also said:
“As I mentioned to you already, one was in Syria, came back to the United States, and then went back to Syria and blew himself up. Mr. Baghdadi the leader of ISIS when he left our Camp Bucca, the camp in Iraq, he said, ‘See you in New York.’ If you read what they’re saying, we are the enemy, they want to destroy us. They are getting stronger all the time. Their goal, as they have stated time after time, is the destruction of the United States of America.”

Senator Lindsey Graham appeared to concur with his Republican colleague when sharing his thoughts on Fox News Sunday:
“They’re coming here. This is not just about Baghdad, not just about Syria. It’s about our homeland. If we get attacked because [Obama] has no strategy to protect us, then he will have committed a blunder for the ages.”
The dire predictions about ISIS fighters coming to, or already residing in, the United States are not just alarmist statements made by a couple of Republicans. ISIS spokesman Abu Mosa recently said, “God willing we will raise the flag of Allah in the White House. I say to America, that the Islamic Caliphate has been established and we will not stop.”
ISIS representative Abu Mosa also said:
“Don’t be cowards and attack us with drones. Instead send your soldiers, the one we humiliated in Iraq. We will humiliate them everywhere.”
A caliphate (or Khilafat) is an Islamic state under the control of a political and “supreme religious” leader known as a caliph — a “successor” to Muhammad. A caliphate also represents a sovereign state comprised entirely of faithful Muslims.
What do you think about the possible presence of ISIS in the United States?
