The GTA 5 Xbox One, PS4, and PC ports’ release date has allegedly been leaked, but Rockstar Games has yet to confirm or deny the claim. Previous rumors have proven true about the upcoming next gen adaptations of Grand Theft Auto 5 , including early leaks found in the game’s code itself.
Game retailer GameSeek has listed the next gen port on Xbox One, PS4, and PC to hit November 7 in the U.K., which certainly coincides with the general time frame that the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions hit last year. Apparently Rockstar Games is aiming to help you spend your Holiday bonus if the listing is accurate.
Much like previous HD updates of major games like The Last of Us , Tomb Raider , and the possibly upcoming Uncharted series, the GTA 5 Xbox One, PS4, and PC ports will be generally identical to their last gen cousins so there probably won’t be much more than better visuals involved. Also, there allegedly won’t be any discounts for the myriad of gamers who already own the open world sandbox title, so it will likely be full price for everybody.
As Trevor, Michael, and Franklin prepare to invade your next gen console or PC by the end of this year, the question is how badly you really want to play the same game all over again, even though Online progress will carry over from the game’s less powerful sibling. It seems that your character is saved to the cloud and won’t vanish if you attempt to access it with the upgrade console.
That means you won’t have to earn everything you have all over again like some other ports.
Again, the cheats and everything that Rockstar Games put into the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of Grand Theft Auto 5 won’t change. It will simply look better.
Are you excited to return to Los Santos with the upcoming GTA 5 Xbox One, PS4, and PC ports on the alleged release date of November 7?
