WWE News: The Rock And Two More Huge Names Presented On Levi’s Stadium WrestleMania 31 Poster

It isn’t everyday that three future WWE Hall of Fame wrestlers would be featured together once again. Not to burst any bubbles, but what is about to be shown should not be taken with the highest form of sincerity. To be fair, two out of three are very realistic, but one however, is not.

Levi’s Stadium, the official location for WrestleMania 31, is already gearing up for the “Granddaddy of Them All” next April. By doing so, the marketing team put up a promotional poster, which you can see here , to give the event some marketability months ahead of the true event itself.

Many outlets are reporting the poster to be a “ placeholder ” for the real poster that WWE won’t release until January or February. Reason being, anything can change right before WrestleMania. In fact, CM Punk departing the company abruptly forced a big change to the WrestleMania 30 poster. Normally, the official one is already in place, but WWE couldn’t change the outcome of Punk’s big ordeal.

This comes as a very interesting situation for WWE, especially Vince McMahon. Right now, the Rock is not expected to be at WrestleMania 31, because of a huge boost in movies coming up this year and next. Fast and Furious 7 will debut on April 10th, which is a couple weeks after the giant pay-per-view.

Naturally, Rock will be promoting the movie and maybe a spot appearance like last year could be done, but don’t count on it. Rock is an extremely busy man that also got injured in both of his matches at WrestleMania 28 and 29. So, risking injuries could be a detriment to his movie career.

Batista and Brock Lesnar present a great possibility to be at WrestleMania 31. Lesnar is already expected to beat John Cena for the WWE World Heavyweight championship at SummerSlam, defend it until 31 comes around, then lose to Roman Reigns. Yes, he is a part-time wrestler, but Lesnar will bring major funds to the company that are desperately needed. Lesnar winning the belt is “best for business.”

Batista “quit” the WWE to go promote his new movie that comes out at the beginning of August. Guardians of the Galaxy is Batista’s biggest movie role to date and WWE granted him time off to do so. His original contract will last two years. So, the WWE Universe can learn to deal with Bluetista or Bootista until 2016.

Like it was mentioned above, take the poster from Levi’s Stadium with a grain of salt. Even though it is two-thirds accurate, that doesn’t mean it’s the official WWE poster. It wouldn’t be a surprise if the WWE’s PR department sends out a memo, stating that it is not the official poster for WrestleMania 31.

There will be more than three part-time guys on it, as well as the Undertaker or Sting, hopefully.

For the dreamers out there, this could be WWE’s way of telling the Internet Wrestling Community, “Enjoy three part-time guys.” Knowing McMahon and Triple H, anything could happen at WrestleMania 31.
