Canada takes their diversity seriously, or at least that’s what it seems like if you go by Canada’s Pizza Hut. To celebrate Canada’s diversity Pizza Hut is releasing four brand new pies that are packed with enough ingredients it will make you wish Canada was celebrating diversity every day.
According to Foodbeast the new lineup in question are four pies that sound pretty appetizing on paper. One Pizza Hut pie features pulled pork with “tropical sauce,” topped with pulled pork with barbecue sauce, red onions, and mozzarella.
For those who are into the sweeter side of foods, there’s a sweet barbecue jerk chicken pizza with cheddar cheese, roasted red peppers, red onions, grilled chicken, bacon and mozzarella. Another pie kicks it up a notch with a fire breathing hot sriracha chicken pizza with, you guessed it, sriracha sauce, green peppers, banana peppers, grilled chicken, and mozzarella.
Lastly the fourth Pizza Hut Pie is a classic pepperoni margarita pizza pie with “old world sauce.” It’s topped with pepperoni, pesto-marinated tomatoes, and mozzarella. The best part about celebrating diversity at Pizza Hut is that all four of the new pizzas sell pretty cheap to the tune of $13.73 for a medium sized pie.
It’s not enough that Canada is promoting four new pies to celebrate diversity. Pizza Hut is also offering two chicken wing appetizers as well. One is topped with sriracha sauce while the other has some sweet jerk sauce.
Unfortunately if you’re really enthusiastic about these pizzas and live outside of Canada you will have to hop on over because Canada’s Pizza Huts are the only ones doling out these special items. This isn’t the first time that Pizza Hut has made exclusive items for Pizza Hut Canada. Last year they rolled out a Cheesy Beef Poutine Pizza and a Smoky Maple Bacon Pizza.
It’s kind of hard to grasp that Pizza Hut Canada would promote diversity yet offer only Canadians the exclusivity of these mouth watering pies. Food Beast said it best:
“The new pies includes Pulled Pork, Pepperoni Margherita, Sweet BBQ Jerk Chicken, and Hot Sriracha Chicken. First of all, all those pizzas should be in ‘murica cause we would eat the shiz outta that.”
Here’s one response from someone who isn’t exactly buying Pizza Hut Canada’s diversity efforts:
