As news that the production of Zack Snyder’s Batman vs. Superman begins in Detroit, Michigan a couple of major sightings took place this weekend in the persons of Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman) and Ben Affleck (Batman).

First to Gal Gadot, who plays Diana Prince’s alter ego, Wonder Woman, in the Man Of Steel sequel, Batman vs. Superman .

The latest news are about the Israeli-born actress being spotted in Detroit, where she is set to take on one of the most iconic comic book characters.

Here are several photos of Gal Gadot on set, the best look we’ve had at the only female superheroine that will join forces with Henry Cavill’s Superman and Ben Affleck.

After Zack Snyder’s big news about what Ben Affleck’s batsuit will look like in Batman vs. Superman last week, some astute Twitter fans spotted a sequence being filmed in Birmingham, Michigan, which involved Gadot’s Wonder Woman and shared the photos for the world to see.

Unfortunately, none of the pics show her wearing her alter ego’s costume, which we have not seen yet.

Similarly, an observant WWJ-TV reporter in the motor city caught Ben Affleck flexing his muscles to get himself ready to play the Capped Crusader in Batman vs. Superman .

From what we gathered about the new batsuit, Affleck will need to work hard to fill the new version of it and stand a chance against the super buff Henry Cavill, who trained with world renowned trainer to the stars Mark Twight.

Zahra Huber, from WWJ-TV caught Affleck at the local gym Fitness 19 in Royal Oak, Michigan, working out just like any other local and even though he was not able to talk about any of the details regarding Batman vs. Superman , he was kind enough to pose for a quick pic.

So things are finally moving along for Batman vs. Superman and we may start to see more behind the scenes photos, as news from those following the production comes out of Michigan in the next few months.
