North Korea Calls South Korea President A ‘Whore’ After Obama Visit

North Korea described South Korean president Park Geun-Hye a “crafty prostitute” , with US president Barack Obama as her “pimp”. The insults were thrown shortly after the latter’s visit to the first-world Asian country last week, according to The Guardian ‘s latest report.

North Korea, headed by Kim Jong-Un, made it clear that the nation was not happy with the recent visit and likened their southern neighbor’s president to an “immature girl”.

“Park Geun-hye’s recent behavior with Obama was like a mean, immature girl begging gangsters to beat up someone she does not like.”

The Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea (CPRK) released the strongly worded statement Sunday almost immediately after Obama left South Korea for other countries in the region, which includes the Philippines and Malaysia. Independent bodies described North Korea’s statement as unusually strong, even by the totalitarian country’s standards.

North Korea added:

“Or a crafty prostitute eagerly trying to frame someone by giving her body to a powerful pimp.”

Some translation agencies, including Pyongyang’s state-run Korean Central News Agency, offered a harsher translation — “capricious whore”.

Obama, during his joint press conference with South Korea president Park Geun-Hye, described NK as a “pariah state” , describing the impoverished country as the most sanctioned state on the planet.

There has been strong evidence that points to significantly increased nuclear activity within the North Korean region. President Park warned the press about Pyongyang and its readiness to stage an atomic test.

Both leaders issued warnings against North Korea, stating that harsher sanctions would be in place if the country does not cease to defy international laws. They also addressed Beijing’s leniency towards Pyongyang’s tendencies for aggression in the region.

In response to the warnings, North Korea said the following:

“If Obama and Park Geun-hye believed that they could change our minds with such threats and blackmailing, they can’t be more foolish.”

“In particular, Park Geun-Hye continued to viciously take issue with our dignity, system and nuclear programmes.”

“She thus laid bare her despicable true colours as a wicked sycophant and traitor, a dirty comfort woman for the US and despicable prostitute selling off the nation.”

The topic of comfort women remains a touchy subject in South Korea, where the nation’s women were forced into sexual slavery during the second World War.

Since her election in 2013, Park has repeatedly emphasized her desire to build better relations with Pyongyang, while remaining vigilant in the face of threat.

However, with the recently released provocative statements, a more stable relationship between South and North Korea will prove much more difficult to achieve.
