The Philadelphia Eagles are in a very good position. They made 11 draft picks, and likely scored three future starters. They are well stocked at almost every position, and have so many good options at QB they can trade Kevin Kolb and either get more draft picks or make a serious upgrade at another position. Sometimes in the NFL, the rich certainly get richer.
They have a minor free agency concern at RB, with two potential backups being free agents. Other than that, there offense is pretty set. Let us not forget this is a good football team that is returning the core of a team that made a fairly deep playoff run. They may have cracked their window for a championship back open a bit.
They went out and addressed their needs very well in the NFL draft, and since they like to hoard draft picks were able to take a kicker in the fourth round when that practice is usually unheard of. They return most of their defense with minor free agent concerns at MLB, and in the defensive secondary. I would like to see them add the piece that gets them over the top if they do in fact trade Kolb. For me they always feel one piece way.
