Respawn Entertainment Opens Website, Teases First Game

Respawn Entertainment, the studio formed by ex-Infinity Ward heads Jason West and Vince Zampella along with other Infinity Ward talent, has finally opened up their company’s website . Not content to leave it at that, the company posted a blurry teaser image for the studio’s very first game (seen above).

During a meeting at this year’s E3, EA Games boss man Frank Gibeau told CVG that Respawn Entertainment is working on a sci-fi shooter , but we were left without any details beyond that. The above image doesn’t exactly tell us more, but if there’s anything that can be gathered, it’s this: the game will have grass, a sky (complete with clouds) and some kind of buildings. In other words, the image tells us basically nothing beyond “we are working on a game of some sort.”

While the studio is hard at work on their mysterious debut title, West and Zampella are still tied up in a lawsuit with Activision, but the lawsuit is starting to finally move forward. Earlier this month it was reported that a LA Superior Court judge deemed there to be sufficient evidence to support their allegations . The trial is expected to start later this year or early next year.

So, what do you think of the above image? If you’re able to spot anything, let us know!
