3D smartphones are beginning to leave their part on the world and both HTC and LG helped them expand their reach today by officially announcing the HTC Evo 3D and LG Thrill 4G.
The Evo 3D (pictured above) is coming to Sprint, while the LG Thrill 4G is headed to AT&T.
The HTC 3D Smartphone is the first 3D phone to be glasses free and also feature Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), a 4.3 inch screen and a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor . The phone also features dual 5-megapixel cameras with 3D image and video capturing capabilities.
On the flip side the LG Thrill 4G which will be available this summer features a glasses free display with a 4.3-inch touchscreen, Android 2.3 (upgradeable to Froyo) and dual 5-megapixel cameras.
We’re basically seeing two very similar devices spec-wise from the company’s although LG will provide preloaded 3D content from YouTube as part of a partnership they have struck with the video sharing service.
